During this phase one should not eat bread, rice, potatoes, fruit, milk, sweets, pasta and alcohol but you can eat lean meat, chicken, fish and eggs. It is believed that one can lose up to 14 pounds. In phase two carbs with alow glycemic index are re introduced which includes fruits, cereals, low skim milk, pasta and whole grain bread. You will need to continue taking these foods till you reach the desired weight loss level. Once you reach the target weight you can re introduce a variety of foods but make sure to maintain your weight.
